Melbourne punk rockers Lazertits have long championed community radio station PBS 106.7FM, today urging punters to get behind the station's annual fundraising Feast Your Ears Radio Festival while unleashes a live clip for New Friend.

The band stopped by the studio on International Women's Day back in March to perform the song on Fang It! with Rita Khayat, and now a video of that broadcast has been unleashed, premiered today via The Music.

"PBS are the ultimate champions of the local music community," Lazertits said.

"They are a reflection of what is one of the most vibrant, diverse and important music scenes.

"Without them, little DIY bands like us who were giving music a crack for the first time wouldn't have made it beyond the confines of our living room.

"They give voice to so many musicians, artists and members of the community who might not get that platform elsewhere.

"PBS is VITALLY important and deserves your support."

Feast Your Ears Radio Festival 2018 is currently underway and will wrap on May 27, with the station calling on new and renewing members to sign up.
