VIDEO PREMIERE: Junior Danger - Dirt & Grime

Brissy-based swamp-rock three-piece Junior Danger are back in action with crunchy new single Dirt & Grime, with a moody video clip and string of upcoming tour dates to boot.

The trio are ramping up for the release of their impending debut studio full-length in the near future, Dirt & Grime being the second single to be lifted from the forthcoming album.

The stompy march of the bass kick and murky, fuzz-laden hooks are tied together by deep, enchanting vocal work, the song's title proving more than apt as the band pull the listener in to the bluesy darkness.

The accompanying video is fittingly monochromatic — save for a final injection of colour in the dying moments of the clip — and shows the band busting out the tune live, in all their attitudinal, wearing-sunglasses-indoors glory.

Junior Danger will launch the single at home in Brisbane with a show at the Milk Factory on Saturday 12 August before hitting the road for a quick tour in support.

They have two shows lined up in Melbourne — Black Bats will support them both times, joined for one show each by Piggie and Palmerslum — before returning to Brissy to play the New Globe with For The Wolves and Silver Citizen.

They round out their upcoming string of outings at Frankie's Pizza in Sydney with a free gig alongside Devil Electric and Khan & The Desert Sea.

If you can't make it to any of those shows, give the band some love on Facebook to stay on top of their future movements and album release.
