Before heading into the studio next month to work on his highly-anticipated third solo album, Josh Rennie-Hynes has today delivered a emotionally poignant music video for his track, Richmond, premiering on theMusic.com.au today.
Shot in a Newcastle house, the clip follows the indie-roots songwriter as he walks throughout shadowed memories of the home's past.
"Richmond is a song about the loss and yearning of a childhood friendship, of what could have been and choices made," Rennie-Hynes said.
As well as continuing work on his new solo LP, Rennie-Hynes has a string of festival appearances locked in this summer with new duo, The Ahern Brothers (formed with longtime collaborator Steve Grady), who toured with Aussie legends Tex, Don & Charlie in recent months.
