VIDEO PREMIERE: Homeward Bound – ‘Bless’

The third single from SA-based electronic hip hop act Homeward Bound is one that conveys a powerful message of optimism.

Its accompanying video captures the essence of the new project from Jimblah and Georgia B and is based around “a day in the life of Homeward Bound”.

“We wanted to capture that feeling for the visuals, to say whatever it is that gives you that added purpose in your life, embrace all of it,” Jimblah told The Music.

“For us, building music can be so dope but it does get very time consuming and can be so draining on that emotional tip - the more we can learn, as artists, to embrace those trying times when we are deep in the cut, the more we will get out of it every time.”

The song is also about being grateful, “whether it’s the small things or those big moments, it all adds up.”

“The more you can tune into what it is you do have, the more fulfilling life will be. We wanted to portray what that looks like for us.

“Our vision is to bring something new and refreshing to the world, and also remind the fam that there is still so much beauty in the world, even though it can seem quite dark right now. Sometimes seeing your own beauty is the genesis of that journey, realising there is still so much good popping’ off.”
