Adelaide dance-pop wonders Heaps Good Friends have unveiled the video clip for their crazy-infectious new gem, Olympic Sneakers.
Proudly premiering on theMusic.com.au today, the main chorus theme "paints the picture of women not understanding men who don't share how they feel," the band explained. "Getting attached to the idea of a person and acting different around them. Feeling gross about the whole thing, and then the make-up comes off!"
The accompanying clip "tells the story of a girl being very obvious about her feelings, and the man being very oblivious", they said.
"Seems stereotypical to pencil men in that slot but I guess this all comes from experience!"

The video was shot in New Zealand with the help of Hayden Graham of creative agency More Than Just, who has complemented the song's quirky, ultra-catchy soundscape with a fittingly endearing, vivid visual companion.
Heaps Good Friends are having a cracker of a run right now, doing no musical wrong with their new material while ramping up for a tour with The Jungle Giants and Lastlings this August.
Just before that, they'll be appearing at Adelaide's Scouted mini-fest on Friday 28 July, with Alana Jagt, Battlehounds, Bec Stevens, Electric Fields, Mane, Tom West, Young Offenders and more. See the Facebook event page for more details on that one.
