CirclesReady to circumnavigate the world with a new album in hand, Circles are back with Tether, the first track from their highly anticipated and long-time coming second album The Last One, premiering today exclusively on theMusic.com.au.
Taking a notably different direction from what Circles have perhaps made themselves known for, it was the first song brought to the band by vocalist Ben Rechter after he joined the band in 2016.
“The song is essentially about confronting the parts of your own psyche that are holding you back,” Rechter said in a statement.
“There’s always people that can help you not only to survive, but to succeed in ways you wouldn’t have thought possible, but you need to be willing to take that terrifying but necessary step.
“It’s as much a song written to myself as a reminder as from me to anyone else feeling trapped.”
