After seven full-length albums as Wagons and three solo albums under his full name, Henry Wagons has returned with brand new project Principal and its first single and visualiser, His Knife Collection, premiering on theMusic.com.au today
The psychedelic clip is as mesmerising as the new tune which dropped on Double J last week; an interesting and exciting direction for the acclaimed Melbourne artist who has teamed up with Melbourne musos Gena Rose, Bruce and Richard Bradbeer to form Principal.
The project was born from Wagons' desire to revisit his love for synth and noise-based music which inspired him to play in bands as a teenager.
The newly-formed band will keep the momentum going with the announcement that the quartet will release debut album Go To The Principal on 22 September via Spunk Records.
