VIDEO PREMIERE: Amber Farnan - 'Muse'

8 March 2022 | 9:45 am | Staff Writer

"It’s about daydreaming and hypothesising a fictitious reality."

Cairns indie-pop singer-songwriter Amber Farnan has today revealed the music video to her previously released single, Muse, premiering via TheMusic.

Farnan is developing a strong name for herself in the musical realm, winning a Queensland Music Award in 2021 for her track Over & Out and has performed alongside the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, supported Jaguar Jonze and has co-written tracks alongside Jack River and John Foreman.

Muse was recorded at Mountain Kauri Studios in the Atherton Tablelands, Danbulah and features gorgeous textures and compelling lyrical content.

"Twelve-year-old Amber promised herself that she would never write a love song. Nineteen-year-old Amber finally caved," Farnan stated.

"Muse was written around the notion of being inspired by someone, with them ultimately being your source of inspiration towards creativity as an artist.

"Whether its poetry, art, theatre or dance, both modern and historic art forms utilise muses as their inspiration."
