TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB are kind of a big deal. Their indie tunes on 2010's debut Tourist History got them new fans far away from their homes in Northern Ireland; we're talking sales surpassing one million worldwide.
The exciting news it that they have an album in the works, Beacon. Noted producer of records for say Bloc Party and U2, Jacknife Lee helped the boys develop their sound in L.A.. The result is a mature record; the songwriting and musical progressions become a little more complex.
“Beacon is a much more intimate record than our first, but at the same time, it's much bigger and more inclusive. Trying to find that balance has been our goal for a long time and this record takes us one step closer to the band we've dreamt of becoming.”
