Flowerkid - It’s Happening Again featuring KUCKA. 

19 year old singer/songwriter Flowerkid has released his new single, ‘It’s Happening Again’. The track follows a series of universally lauded singles including ‘miss andry’ and ‘boy with the winfields and the wild heart’. This time he has brought KUCKA into the mix, creating a gorgeous, self reflective breakbeat banger. Drum and Bass inspired drums combine perfectly with glowing piano runs and an introspective vocal.

Master Peace - Boyfriend (featuring Mae Muller)

UK trailblazer Master Peace has today released his new EP, ‘Public Display of Affection’. The standout track from the project is ‘Boyfriend’ with Mae Muller. Rampant guitar lines combine with a looped rock drum pattern, with chant like vocals bringing the tracks elements together. It’s a ready built banger for the live stage that will be reopening globally in the coming months. 

BVT - Shawty

Sydney/Eora based HipHop/R&B artist and producer BVT has shared her new single, ‘Shawty’. The track fuses inspiration from the early 2000s R&B and tips a hat to the Golden Era of Hip-Hop. She pulls these together and adapts the sonics through a Queer lens, attempting to give representation to people like her that grew up with these genres, but never received it.

Jack Grace - Sailing

Jack Grace today releases his elliptical debut album, ‘Turn To Something You Know’. Featuring previous singles, ‘A Ribbon’, ‘Redemption’, ‘Daydreaming’ and ‘The Pavement’ the record ties the new sonic world created by Grace into a personal, 11 track vignette into his life. It’s standout track, ‘Sailing’ reflects the albums sonic vision perfectly, blending looped drum patterns, optimistic melodies and organic instrumentation.

Brent Faiyaz - Wasting Time featuring Drake

Brent Faiyaz has linked up with Drake on his latest effort, ‘Wasting Time’. The track, produced by The Neptunes features Faiyaz on lead vocals above the synth heavy production, with a catchy as ever vocal contribution from Drake the the tracks latter half. 

Hauskey - One Minute (with Hope Tala)

Hauskey is on one of the strongest single runs in the country, this time brining London’s fast-rising Bossa Nova-inspired R&B artist Hope Tala into the mix of his feel good, alt-pop gems. The song tackles the issues of not being able to rely on your friends, the ones that are there until the going gets tough. 

Akosia - Iso

Rising neo soul voice of Ghanian descent, Akosia has today released another gorgeous track, this time by way of ‘Iso’. Influenced by the likes of Sade, Nina Simone, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Moses Sumney, Hans Zimmer and Beethoven, her multidimensional focus as an artist shows on her vast songwriting capabilities. 

Pretty Girl - Sun Phase

Sun Phase’ is the first official label release from Melbourne/Naarm producer Pretty Girl. A melting pot of vast and distinct sonic influences combine together to create a warm and soulful house groove. Ambient fused synth chords similar to the likes of Andras combine with an all enveloping percussion section, creating a headphone or sound system escape route from the happenings of the world.

Tora - Call On Me

Tora has released a new, colourful single, ‘Call On Me’. The track follows on from 'Why Won't You Wait' and ‘When Will I Learn’, all of which will feature on Tora’s upcoming third album A Force Majeure which will be released on 3 September. The tracks glitchy bass line combines perfectly with its electronic elements and those gorgeous piano chords.

Jordan Brando - Roxi

Melbourne minimal house favourite Jordan Brando has returned today with new single, ‘Roxi’. It’s a teased out banger, with each respective element meticulously entering and exiting the mix. Full of tension, the tracks underlying rhythm will hold listeners and dancefloors tight, with its whimsical melody holding down the tracks top end.
