The group has received praised by the likes of Jack White and Patti Smith. Not only has the group been praised by some of their idols but they were also lucky enough to perform a cover of 'America' to a standing ovation lead by Paul Simon at the Polar Prize ceremony. The Sydney Morning Herald noted of their recent visit, “First Aid Kit's musical kit bag is surprisingly expansive and outgoing.”
The album was recently re-packaged as a strictly limited edition box set, with a heap of bonus material including the groups latest single 'Wolf', a tour documentary, single videos, a 20 page booklet and a guitar pick.
