TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT: Primal Scream

As one of MEREDITH MUSIC FESTIVAL’s most coveted acts for 2012, PRIMAL SCREAM are tantalizing Australian tastebuds with the first tour since their acclaimed 2011 stint, ‘Screamadelica’.

The band that flawlessly sew together genres like a manic seamstress are armed with a catalogue of classics, fan favourites and a host of new material. You should expect a smooth and endearing blend of rock and roll, electro and psychedelia.

Primal Scream’s former bassist, Mani has departed to join the Stone Roses, so bad ass girl rocker Debbie Googe of My Bloody Valentine will take the reigns and be sure to do the fans justice on this five city Australian tour.

The band known for their hit, ‘Get Your Rocks Off’ are entering their fourth decade together as they implore Australian fans to get their rocks off and be sure to nip down to your local music establishment and catch Primal Scream in all their glory.
