Jeeeeeeeeeeeesus Chriiiiiist girrrrrrl[s and boys], FATHER JOHN MISTY is coming back to Australia in 2013!
Josh Tillman (who was once recognised as the man behind the drum kit of the beautiful folk outfit Fleet Foxes) has announced three Australian dates for February of next year along the East Coast.
Consistently releasing solo material since 2003, Tillman's new project - Father John Misty - has hit the music scene in such a highly respected manner.
His debut record Fear Fun has been received with such grace and admiration, wowing people with his song-writing skills and versatility. It's a little bit folky and a little bit rockabilly, which is exemplified during his quirky live shows. These performance qualities that Tillman evokes to his audience are definitely what completes his show. This is backed up by the fact that he sold out both Sydney's Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne's The Corner Hotel when he was here earlier this year.

He also mesmerised many at this year's Splendour In The Grass. I should know, I was fortunate enough to see the guy captivate the entirety of the G W McLennan tent on the concluding day of the festival!
Catch Father John Misty shake his hips and stamp his feet on selected stages in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Tickets go on sale at 9am next Wednesday, 14th November. For those of you Secret Sound subscribers, there will be a presale on Monday, 12th November at midday.
