In addition to what promises to be a stellar set at Harvest Festival, Beirut has just announced a run of solo shows to boot!
Zach Condon and co., AKA BEIRUT will be returning to Australian shores once again to not only play at Harvest Festival in November, but they have also just announced that they will play a handful of side shows whilst in Australia, Sydney and Adelaide being the lucky devils.
The 2011 release, “The Rip Tide,” is Beirut’s most recent installment to the ever growing menagerie of folk delights. The humble folk tunes pair with Condon’s fantastic ability to make his music as memorable as can be. “The Rip Tide” is a snapshot of not only where Beirut stands, but of where Condon and his own abilities and insights stand, which is reflective upon their performance ethos.

The insightful features of “The Rip Tide” were conceived solely from a small pan of instruments; ukulele symphonies, piano accompaniments, each layered by a large array of instrumentalists. As Beirut have already made their own mark upon the world, their tour will inevitably be a masterpiece.
