Many artists have announced sideshows accompanying their appearances at Falls this year. Such artists include: BEACH HOUSE, FIRST AID KIT, TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, and now another Festival act has announced dates for a short tour.
TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS aka Orlando Higginbottom has not only locked in Falls Festival and Southbound appearances, he also sold out his one-off Sydney show at the Oxford Art Factory in only four minutes, and if this doesn’t tell you how loved TEED is, I don’t know what will.
TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINT DINOSAURS first flew onto the radar in 2010 when Higginbottom released his third EP through Greco-Roman – the label partially run by Joe Goddard of HOT CHIP - and boy did that bird fly! Since then, loyal followers have watched as TEED has grown and released his debut album Trouble through Universal here in Aus.

So after all this, he'll be playing in Brisbane and Melbourne following his festival dates so everyone get your pens and date books/planners/calendars/etch-a-sketches ready:

CITY CALM DOWN are supporting TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS as you can see and this makes for an incredible combo. CITY CALM DOWN have also been doing very well for themselves signing with label I OH YOU earlier this year and will be releasing their EP Movements on November 2. CITY CALM DOWN are embarking on their EP Launch Tour throughout November so with these new support dates added to their calendar, CITY CALM DOWN will be doing a fair bit of travelling in the coming months.
Don’t miss these shows guys because I guarantee a magnificent night out and if I’m wrong and the show turns out to be more of a boozy gold-coast-schoolies night, then you have full permission to hunt me down and shove a delicious apple pie (cold of course) in my face.
