We fell in love with the music of Finnish producer Lenno when we heard his endearingly funky remix of Foster The People's 'Helena Beat'.

We first fell in love with the music of 17 year old Finnish producer LENNO around 11 months ago when we heard his undeniably solid and endearingly funk driven remix of FOSTER THE PEOPLE's 'Helena Beat'.

Since then this musical prodigy has remixed everyone from The Knocks to Martin Solvieg, released his own EP through Helsinki based label Top Billin and is currently on his first ever Australian tour. You can catch him doing his thing when he performs a headline DJ set this Friday night at CANT SAY Melbourne (more info HERE).

Miami Horror - for their awesome mixture of disco, pop and dance.

TOP 5 GIG’S YOU’VE BEEN TOO

Araabmuzik in NYC - his live set is pretty much the most intense music experience I've had in my life

Nas in Austin, TX - the stage production was super crazy and hearing Illmatic in whole while seeing two producer heroes of mine (Pete Rock & DJ Premier) was huge.

Gotye in NYC - seeing them in a smallish club just before "Somebody That I Used To Know" became big was super great. Their stage set-up is a music geek's wet dream.

Martin Solveig in Hungary - The man knows how to put together a show. Seeing him rock a big festival set was one of the most inspiring moments of my life.

Zappa Plays Zappa in Helsinki - An absolutely wonderful experience, hearing all the best stuff of one of my favorite artists played by some of the most skilled musicians in the world.

TOP 5 PLACES FOR A NIGHT OUT IN HELSINKI

Nokia Factory - big international guests, some of the biggest nights in Helsinki - if you can get a ticket. The best soundsystem of the city too (it's a Funktion One btw)

Siltanen - a great restaurant by day, a very cool little bar by night

Circus - the best big club in town

Venue - for the dance music aficionado

Motellet - some of the dopest club nights

TOP 5 MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT WEBSITES

Too Many Sebastians - loads of great music with good taste

XLR8R - for everything you need from the club music side of things.

Dödselectro - great mixture of electro house, disco, 80s and everything in between

Beat My Day - all the best of house music. Great info on all new releases that matter and their live track lists of live streams are great fun to watch.

SoundCloud - kinda obvious but there's so much great new music coming out all the time that it's great to have a site that has all of it available in one convenient place.

TOP 5 SONGS TO LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY TOO

Pretty much everything by Prince!
