Which act are you paying tribute to and why? We will be paying tribute to the amazing Gram Parsons because he is amazing! A uniquely frail voice over stunning, original country and folk music. Truly remarkable.

What was their best period musically? We've been fans of his Burrito Brothers material mostly, but that is not to say that his solo career lacks in hits.

Your favourite song of theirs and why? Brass Buttons is a beautiful and timeless song. It can be covered in any style and still remain heartbreaking. From the Burrito's time, Sin City is and will remain a classic.

Which album of theirs would you give to a newbie who had no idea about them to best represent them (and why)? The easiest place to start is The Gilded Palace Of Sin by the Flying Burrito Brothers. A great introduction not only to Gram and Chris Hillman, but also to modern day country, pre-Eagles.

When and where is your gig(s) giving them the nod? Our gig will be on 10 Jul at the Bellingen Memorial Hall accompanied by a multitude of incredible musicians also participating in the Bello Winter Music Festival.
