Starting my own label, Sonic Masala Records, and starting my own festival, Sonic Masala Fest - ah, the theme becomes apparent; seeing Slint; seeing Wolf Eyes; seeing Part Chimp; starting my new "career" as a film interviewer by making Sir Ian McKellen laugh ‘til he wheezed; friends, drink, music, food, sex - all the spices of life.
