Another week, another ten bangers are coming your way.

Each week, The Music sifts through streaming services, our inboxes, and chats with each other to come up with ten new songs to feature on our weekly updated playlist, The Music’s Friday Finds: The Week’s Best New Music.

The playlist is updated on Spotify and Apple Music and includes the hottest songs from Australia and around the world. This week, we’ve gathered new songs from Lotte Gallagher, Troye Sivan, Sampa the Great, Enter Shikari, Remi Wolf, and much more.

Before you check out each song, though, here’s a short breakdown of each track that’s been added to our playlist this week.

Lotte Gallagher - LUCKY2LOVE

Australian singer-songwriter Lotte Gallagher has never sounded so good. On LUCKY2LOVE, she embraces nostalgic pop sounds and blends them with her brand of blissed-out indie rock.

Troye Sivan - FF

With his latest album, She’s The Best, Troye Sivan sounds confident in himself and his music. The new single FF is an effortless pop ballad in which the party-starting singer is simply looking for love.

Enter Shikari - Higher Ground

After shocking fans by announcing they’ll break up at the end of 2027, British rockers Enter Shikari aren’t disappearing without making fans smile. With its electronic-meets-rock sound and repetitive refrain, Higher Ground finds vocalist Rou Reynolds trying to spread the love.

Sampa The Great - Location

Sampa the Great wasn’t kidding when she labelled her forthcoming album Nu Zamrock. While her vocals and beats remain rooted in hip-hop, Location embraces rockier elements, with driving synths and drums keeping up with Sampa’s energy.

Remi Wolf - Champagne

Remi Wolf’s grounded new album, Mud, isn’t any less exciting than her previous work. On the standout track Champagne, her voice soars over acoustic instrumentation and melodies.

girl in red - blue

girl in red channels a wistful, tender nature on her new single, blue. Anchored by acoustic guitar and echoing harmonies, her storytelling shines in the track’s stripped-back sound.

Worm Girlz - Funeral

Worm Girlz bring the darkness of their new single, Funeral, as they ponder what happens when someone dies suddenly. The guitars command attention alongside the emotional vocals and marching-beat drums, making it one of the band’s strongest songs to date.

Stimpies - What A Lie

Closing out their new album, Doing Good, with What A Lie, Stimpies are making a statement: you won’t forget this album anytime soon. With reverb-drenched vocals and a rockabilly-inspired structure, it’s a song that demands replays.

REDD., Cat & Calmell - i wanna

With i wanna, genre-defying stars REDD. and Cat & Calmell are on a mission to redefine pop and electronic music. This fast-paced collaboration is packed with energy and lets both acts’ unique personalities shine.

Florence Road - Wish Upon You

Irish rockers Florence Road are heading to Australia for next year’s Laneway Festival, and fans can prepare for their set with this piano-driven banger. With emotionally resonant vocals, Wish Upon You unfurls to become anything but an ordinary rock song.
