2016 highlight of the year

L7 touring Australia for the first time in what had felt like forever was a major highlight. I can't remember the last time I spent more time above the crowd, as opposed to in the crowd. The announcement of the Descendents' 2016 release was another exciting moment. With these two things happening, it felt like punk rock would still be around for a while longer and that age doesn't always mean you're old (and potentially boring).

prediction for 2017

Good things and even better gigs! The tour announcements that have already been made are super exciting, and not knowing what else is to come can even be more exciting. Personally, I'm hopeful that guitars will regain more popularity and that the electronic peak takes a break.
