All good things must come to an end...
It's almost all over — Holy Holy are just about to call time on their epic national tour touting their new album, Paint, and they've been kind enough to let us in with some behind-the-scenes glimpses of life on the road over the last few weeks.
Though the lengthy run is almost done — they've only three shows to go over in Western Australia — they're not going out quietly, with the band recently unveiling the video for their single True Lovers, which landed midway through the tour.
Check out the video for True Lovers, and enjoy one last look at gig life with Holy Holy before their final shows of the sojourn, below.

One of the best things about doing a winter tour in Australia is Queensland. Because it doesn’t count as winter there. It just isn’t winter. It’s hot. I took my shoes off. This photograph shows the first time my feet had felt the outdoor air in approximately four months.
One of the secret, hidden pleasures of life on the road: an ironing board, an iron, and a spare five mins.
Had a lovely time doing an in-store at our favourite record store in the country, Jet Black Cat, in Brisbane. Shannon from JBC has been a great supporter of the band and we really enjoy playing in a stripped-back setting at her record store.
The tour van. Doubtless, I am conducting some extremely important and consequential business. Time waits for no man (van).

The chess tournament continues. The battle quietly rages, and the tour takes a definite backseat to a rivalry of the ages. The tally stands at two wins and two losses apiece; one game has ended in a draw, and one game is still in play.
The set for our show at The Triffid, July 8. That was a great show; The Triffid is easily one of the finest venues in the country, especially for its size. Feels rather odd writing ‘Beyoncé’ on a set-list; never thought I’d do that. We’re playing her song Hold Up in the set at the moment… we recently played it for triple j’s Like A Version and it’s been a really fun tune to play live. It’s amazing how many smartphones pop up in the audience when we introduce it…
And this is Nikita’s view of our show at The Triffid. Nikita is our sound engineer, tour manager, and hero. Without him, we would sound shit.
Most of us travel to different places at the end of a weekend. I live in Melbourne, and here she is… bathed in sunlight, threatened by cloud, no doubt whipped by a chilly southerly, and expecting rain.
Holy Holy close out their Paint national tour with three final shows in WA, beginning tomorrow night at Mojo's in Fremantle, and going on to Perth and Bunbury. See theGuide for more details.
