Kill Your Stereo are stoked to be premiering the new video for 'Neon Dreams' by Melbourne band The City
What a change of pace for the Melbourne 5-piece! 'Neon Dreams' is the follow-up track to last months 'Caffeine Fiend (Living The Dream)'. The songs are like fire & ice when it comes to their sound, showing the band's diversity ahead of their album, also titled 'Neon Dreams' which is out this Friday.
The 80's inspired electro track will have you dancing around like you're in a club with a light-up dance floor. When asked about the track, vocalist Vaughan Sullivan stated the following:
"This song more about Lust than Love, fitting in line with our fast-paced, modern-day, consumer-based digital society, where you have apps for everything, even romantic connections"
"It's a lot more light-hearted than some of the heavier topics threaded throughout the lyrics on the rest of the album, and is arranged to really break up the listener's experience and almost reset them in the middle of their journey with us on NEON DREAMS as a whole experience"
