'I Wanted My Album To Feel Bigger Than Just Music': Charley On 'The Chronicles Of A Serial Idealist'

Tame Impala Announce Australian Tour Dates

For two years we have waited for Tame Impala's second album, and now the band will be embarking on a national tour.

By now I expect you all have heard TAME IMPALA’s new synth driven LP Lonerism, if you haven’t don’t tell me because I will most probably die of shock.

Lonerism has been one of the most anticipated albums of 2012 and since it’s release on October 5, Pitchfork has given it a 9/10, NME has also given it 9/10, and The Guardian has rated the album 5/5.

The album is the follow up to Innerspeaker, and front man Kevin Parker has pulled together his creative juices and made an album that has more zest than their previous LP. Lonerism is full of TAME IMPALA’s signature psychedelic vibes with various guitar distortions, and heavy drum beats however, Lonerism differs from Innerspeaker because there is a plethora of synths that overpower the entire album.

Two years we have waited for TAME IMPALA’s second album, and now along with appearances at Pyramid Rock, Meredith Music Festival, and Homebake, TAME IMPALA will be embarking on a national tour.
