Which act made you want to pick up the guitar and why? Peter Frampton: melodic soloing and songwriting, his use of the talkbox and the long, open jams. He had cool hair too!

What are you going to talk about/play at the Festival? Various original compositions from my last few releases. My tunes are my diary, so each song has a story. They are my vehicle to pay homage to friends and influences.
Are you planning to catch any of the other performances or workshops? If so, what are you hoping to get out of it? I hope to check out as much as I can, I love great guitar playing in any style and I know there will be plenty of it!
What advice would you give to a beginner guitarist attending the Festival? Open your ears and heart to the music.
If you could play with any performer, who would it be and why? Chick Corea: impeccable technique, time, rhythm, harmony and melody!
