"Hit 6th Street for dinner with some food truck tacos and had some fun people-watching — and bear-watching."

Yesterday Vera Blue, PINES and more checked in with us from their temporary home in Austin, Texas, as they went about their day giggin' and eatin' and flyin'.

Here's our second on-ground report, with updates from Hockey Dad, PINES and more.

Bit of a quieter day for us, spending the arvo working on the set and practicing for our shows. We did have a short stint catching some Texas sunshine and had a swim in the hotel pool.

Hit Sixth Street for dinner with some food truck tacos and had some fun people-watching — and bear-watching.

Tried to get into see Jain but had crazy line-ups... nowhere near as big as the line-up for Solange though.

This is across from our hotel — MTV Woodies, they're on tomorrow.

Line-up for A$AP Ferg at Sony party. The Chainsmokers are playing there tomorrow night!

Food truck, they were amazing!

I played my first showcase at 12am at Swan Dive, and I had the best time! Thanks to everyone for packing out my first ever American show!

Bearing my emotions to the world today with Giphy. Getting ready for the acting career haha

I also swung past VEVO's headquarters at SXSW today. Can't wait for my video for Private to be released on there very very soon!

We started the day in the city with our gear, ready for two showcases. The first was at the International stage at the Austin Convention Centre.

Before our showcase we caught The Japanese House's set - it was unreal. I really enjoyed it. So much vocoder. A lot of the showcases have epic lines that turn hundreds of people away... So it was neat to be at a venue with great sound & no line.

We had an awesome first showcase at the International Stage. I didn't really know what to expect but we had a great turn out. I got to sign a bunch of my flyers. Really special feeling.

Between our showcases, out the back of the Austin Convention Centre - working out a game plan with tweaking stage arrangements.

We arrived at SESAC's showcase at peak hunger levels. The venue was a BBQ joint and smelled like spices & BBQ smoke. The full Texan experience! The showcase was great - lots of people and a really cool vibe.
