Olga SolarBurgeoning Aussie indie-pop artist Olga Solar is winding 2019 down in the best way possible - with some brand new music!
The Sydney songwriter has dropped bold new single, Actor, premiering on theMusic.com.au today, which she'll launch with a hometown show at Venue 505 next week.
"People obviously change all the time whether it's in their control or not, and when you're close to someone it's hard to notice that change as it tends to be gradual," Solar told The Music.
"So I found myself struck by a sort of bizarre thought as I observed someone close to me in their current state - I imagined that they could immediately switch back to being their old self as I remember them from years ago, as if they were an actor that could instantly drop character and make that drastic change acceptable.
"Actor is about wishing someone would go back to being their old self, and captures that moment where my mind wandered in disbelief."
Following the Sydney launch show, Solar will release a live video of Actor later this month.
