Steel Panther and Sevendust are coming down under in October 2022 after it being re-scheduled a BUNCH of times throughout COVID, and Michael Starr is STOKED to still be coming alongside their brothers Sevendust after all is said and done. He took the time to chat about mental health among rockstars and music industry people, about their show minus Lexxi Foxx and whether Australian people are attractive or not!

More Steel Panther More Steel Panther

Among the tours that were announced just prior to COVID's presence in the world, there was one Australian/New Zealand tour that stood the test of time and despite MANY re-schedulings, the Steel Panther and Sevendust tour stood STRONG - with people retaining their purchased tickets for over TWO YEARS. They are coming. In October 2022, Australia and New Zealand will FEEL THE STEEL once more.

We sat down with Michael Starr, who chatted about the whole experience for them, that they were therapists for each other through COVID and beyond, and that they were actively out there checking in on their friends in bands etc as well. Starr expressed his excitement that they were able to retain the line-up alongside Sevendust and scheduling had not torn the tour asunder.

Starr addressed that they are still without a permanent bassist on the roster, and the search continues - and that MANY of the top 20 applicants that have been bandied about within the band and management have been people OTHER than men. They will likely have their new bassist on-board by the time that they come to AU and NZ in October, but it's very much still a case of WATCH THIS SPACE.
