After charming us with a round of singles and 2015's delicate TQ EP, Melbourne pairing Slum Sociable have returned with the first track from their forthcoming debut album, Don't Come Back Another 100 Times. Taken from their currently-untitled record - out later this year through Liberation Music, Don't Come Back Another 100 Times sees the duo distance themselves from their previous sound in favour of a more down-tempo and expansive one, with lush synth work and delicate vocals combining to create more of a heartfelt ballad feel, pulsing with some really heavy emotions. "Don’t Come Back Another 100 Times is about trying not to be shallow. It touches on elements of regret, of losing someone because of it and accepting the responsibility of your actions," they duo said, diving into theme behind the emotionally-charged new single. "It's introspective, but written for anyone to be able to relate to and hopefully help come to terms with their own similar situation."
