The long-serving band will hit the road this November.
Revered Sydney indie band The Clouds continue their resurgence with strutting new single Beautiful Nothingness, their first new track since the release of their eagerly received new EP Zaffre back in February.
The band describe the song as "a mini-meditation on the underlying consciousness of the universe, disguised as a pop song".
"Surrender to the present moment; let go of our thoughts and judgments; explore the unconditioned, un-manifested nothingness, where all is one," they said. "This is love. Embrace the Now, the Silence, the Impermanence; embrace each other!"
It's a bouncy, infectious tune characteristic of the band's substantial pop nous, a tightly written and inviting stroller lifted by the dual vocals of central songwriter Jodi Phillis and her long-time creative partner Trish Young.

Having already flexed their live skills earlier this year in support of Blondie and Cyndi Lauper, the band are set to embark on their own headline tour next month, kicking off in Canberra and heading on to Sydney, Fremantle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Maroochydore.
The set for the show will include new songs the band have freshly written — including the titular single, set for release on Monday 16 October — as well as their extensive back catalogue, spanning four studio albums and eight EPs, including their most recent.
