“It’s fierce, vulnerable and nerve-racking.”
Brisbane-based folk singer-songwriter Jordan Merrick is “starting the next phase of his career”, today unveiling Low Country, the lead cut from his forthcoming new album.
The new single – which features Harry James Angus of The Cat Empire fame on keys - arrives ahead of a show in Brisbane this weekend and “tips its hat to ‘60s rock’n’roll, painting a colourful portrait to tell its story”.
“It’s fierce, vulnerable and nerve-racking bundled into one,” Merrick told The Music.
“It's temptation at its most enticing. It's a story of the Low Country."
Merrick also has dates scheduled in Sydney and Melbourne for next month; all the details of which you can find in theGuide.
