After eight years on the scene, Aussie artist Jesabel, aka Jess Heap, has finally written and released a defining track.
Electro pop single Gemini premieres today via The Music ahead of its official release tomorrow.
“I’ve been DJing for eight years and working on music for a lot of that time - it’s so nice to have written something that really felt and sounded like me,” Heap said.
“It felt right for Gemini to be my first release ever! I’m a Gemini and I’m surrounded by Geminis and I just find them so unpredictably interesting.
“They are hugely outgoing, adaptable but also completely indecisive and impulsive!
“There is always that element of surprise when around a Gemini and that’s what the song is about wrapped in a fun, disco/poppy ‘80s inspired package!”
After performing festival alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki and more across Australia, South East Asia and New Zealand, Jesabel inked a management deal with Ministry Of Sound in 2015.
