SINGLE PREMIERE: Foley – ‘Can’t Help The Way’

“We really wanted to express a feeling of complete freedom."

Having only formed in 2017, New Zealand duo Foley, aka Ash Wallace and Gabriel Everett, have quickly established a unique and engaging sound.

After making waves with debut single Stranger and follow-up Talk About It, they return with Can’t Help The Way.

“We really wanted to express a feeling of complete freedom,” Wallace told The Music.

“It is so easy to overthink everything and make analytical decisions around our relationships when in fact sometimes the head has nothing to do with it. Life presents you with new emotions, new connections and new faces all at random so sometimes you just can’t help the way it turns out!”

Everett added: “We wanted to capture the most positive sense of helplessness, in that sometimes there isn't any way to control the way your future pans out or if your decisions are meaningful in getting you to your ambitions.”

Check out the song above before its official release tomorrow.
