BrightsiderWe’ll be hearing a lot from Brightsider this year, with the new independent project from Perth songwriter and producer Dan White set to drop a new song the first Friday of every month through 2021.
White, who is also a member of Blue Child Collective and the director of WA Guitar Festival, today introduces the new project via upbeat debut single The Best Things In Life Come Easy, Right?.
“I'm pumped to be running with a fresh new project - we've spent most of the last year doing the groundwork, writing, recording and pulling together a bunch of new music which we can't wait to share the first Friday of each month this year!” White told The Music.
On the track itself, he noted: “Sometimes you’ve got to remind yourself to stop and focus on the good things in life instead of all the things you’re trying to achieve, especially being an independent self-managed artist.
“It’s funny that often when you do step back things seem to have a chance to fall into place; this tune is a snapshot of that written on a surf trip which did more for my career than a whole lot of hours glued to my laptop.”
