Single Focus: Revolution Incorperated

Be happy

Answered by: Raj Sena

Single title? Little Dub

What’s the song about? Don’t sweat the little worries, be happy, be grateful and just enjoy your lives with a sprinkle of reggae music.

How long did it take to write/record? The original song Little Reggae was written about 15 years ago but this latest recording has been in the making for nearly two years, finally capturing its essence as a dub track.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This is the second single release by us and is a precursor to a album or EP. We wanted to share something new with our fans.

What was inspiring you during the song’s writing and recording? We mixed and created this track ourselves and it was a true learning and creative process for us. We love listening to many old school dub mixes and hopefully brought some of that inspiration to it.

We’ll like this song if we like... Think Lee-Scratch-Perry, Sly & Robbie or more recently Katchafire dub mixes with a bluesy Amy Winehouse or Hollie Cook vocal.

Do you play it differently live? Yes and no, you have to come and see it for yourself!
