Single title: I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore

What's the song about? Acceptance, love, being open to people and their experiences, constant floor toms and disgusting distortion and slide combinations — "a design for life".

How long did it take to write/record? Writing was about an afternoon of sheer horror and desperation, partially inspired by watching a doco on The Beach Boys' Smile. We recorded the track with Dave Parkin in a day — not because we're particularly good, it's because he's a wizard.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Yes! Our debut full-length is all primed to go for an early 2017 release — tentatively titled A Handful Of Ash, but I could be swayed to rename it Summertime Duck.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? Thinking about people who struggle with identity, being unable to tell people anything directly and about five coffees.

We'll like this song if we like...Midnight Oil, modulation pedals and swearing.

Do you play it differently live? Maybe a little faster if we're all peppered up? Otherwise the arrangement hasn't changed. Also depends if I don't mangle the slide intonation.

When and where is your launch/next gig? Launch TBA and we have so many goddamned gigs over the next few months, some in surprising places — keep up to date with our Facebook because I struggle with it too!
