What’s the song about? Being drunk and sad.

How long did it take to write/record? This one was all done in about an hour. It fell out of me. But I produced it myself and spent a lot of time on that mix.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This is my first release. I got it pressed on vinyl, which is really exciting. I love the B-side Homeless Dog Shelter. It’s a standalone release but I’m putting out more music soon. Promise!

What was inspiring you during the song’s writing and recording? Being cold in Melbourne and having some time to myself for the first time in a long time. It’s a nostalgic song for me. I was feeling like a teenager.

We’ll like this song if we like... Everybody says it sounds like Bon Iver or Sigur Rós. I’m very humbled by these comparisons.

Do you play it differently live? Every time! I make all the beats live with a loop pedal, a drum pad, a guitar and a microphone.
