What's the song about? Pascal Cavalier is a mysterious trickster someone who is/was capable of miraculous things. Rather than “making something of himself” he decided to travel the world, discover new things and play! Preying on people's thought, actions and emotions. It's really just us having fun with the idea of someone not being such a serious dick.

Is this track from a forthcoming/existing release? We're in the process of materialising our debut album. I imagine Pascal… will be on the album, doing some strange things.

How long did it take to write/record? It's been a pretty long process. It was originally just a loud, fun, mysterious jam that we got caught up with! I think it took us about a month to lay everything down, restructure it and add the little bits that make it what it is now.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? We loved (and still love) the idea of things like chants, highs and lows and other bizarre house party-ish antics in our show. Writing the track, we were simply picturing people, bouncing, smiling, yelling and sweating.

Do you play it differently live? Hmm kind've, we've got flippy flopping flipdrop dragons in it live. I'm not sure if people would really notice the difference though, the live and recorded versions really are quite similar!

Will you be launching it? Yeah, we will be thrashing it out at GoodGod, Friday 20 July with Panama and Colour Coding. It's all apart of our east coast tour! Picture a beach party on crack, in dark wacked out rooms, in the middle of winter.
