What’s the song about?
The song is about acknowledging and committing to overcome inner demons that have bogged you down.

How long did it take to write/record?
We wrote it during several rehearsals and the recording process took months. We produce everything ourselves on zero budget. As a result, coordinating studio time for each performer can become a waiting game.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release?
It’s the title track from our debut EP Ignite, which was released earlier this year at Saltar Hype’s Rock The Bay music festival held at The Espy.

What was inspiring you during the song’s writing and recording?
Ignite was and still is catharsis. I was disappointed with some choices I had made, and I was compelled to express that in a positive way. It still feels uplifting every time we play it.

Do you play it differently live?
There are some subtle string arrangements in the studio version that we don’t play live, but apart from that, we play it the same as we did in the studio.
