Single title? Riverstone
What's the song about? Riverstone is a song that explores changing reality, love, loss and holding on for dear life throughout all of that.
How long did it take to write/record? We sat on this one for a long while. It was written around a year ago and tweaked in the studio since last September. It was a slow burner but we're proud of it.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? It's the first single off a longer release that will probably emerge later in the year. It's been a while since we've released music, so we're pretty excited to get this out there.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? Riverstone is a song that is a breath of fresh air amidst a record about a pretty specific break up - I suppose its inspired by hope; a bit of a silver lining track.
We'll like this song if we like... Gated drums, reverb-washed guitars, horns, synths - I guess we were aiming for a bit of an '80s throwback.
Do you play it differently live? More or less the same - just less layers and without a horn section ha ha.
When and where is your launch/next gigs? 5 May, Black Dot Music & Hoskins Centre, Armidale; 6 May, McCrossin's Mill Museum, Uralla; 19 May, Imperial Hotel, Sydney
