Single title: Love & War

Where did the title of your new single come from? It's a twist on the Shakespearean adage "All is fair in love and war". In the song it's mirrored in the lyrics "Who'd want to be in love? Who'd want to be at war?"

How many releases do you have now? Two EPs out, plus Love & War, which is the first single of four we are releasing in 2016.

How long did it take to write/record? Because of some crazy world travels it took us over two years between starting and finishing the recording! It was recorded between three studios/engineers and mixed by one our favourites, Victor Van Vugt.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? I met someone who said they had never had a serious relationship and didn't want to have one, as in, "Who'd do that to themselves?". It became a very different take on a love song!

What's your favourite part? I love the back half of the song, the singing is over and the music takes off like a rocket.

Will you do anything differently next time? We are getting much more confident recording ourselves! We tracked the vocals and electric guitars for this single at home and I expect will do even more next time.

When and where is your launch/next gig? Our single launch is at the Triffid, 1 May. We have five great bands helping out on the night, it's going to be great.
