What's the song about?: Wasting time with people we shouldn't have.

How long did it take to write/record?: The initial demo came together pretty quickly. It was actually the first track Hancoq and I collaborated on in Nov 2013. A year and a half later we are satisfied with the arrangement and recordings.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release?: This will be our second single, we are have been demoing for quite some time and our next phase is finishing our LP. Our studio session actually starts the day after our upcoming Listening Party.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording?: Generally its conversation and musicianship. It may be a lyric that stems from a chat or its a piano lick that creates a strong motif.

We'll like this song if we like... A modern take on soul and hip-hop. Say Chance The Rapper meets Fat Freddy's Drop.

Do you play it differently live?: Absolutely, we are a big band ranging from 6 to 9 members. Imagine beats with Alto, Tenor, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, Keys, Synth, Congas, Bongos, Guitar, Vocals and Rhymes.

When and where is your launch/next gig?: Saturday Night at Belleville crn of Swanston and Little Bourke off Globe Alley. We got 8 cases of beer and a keg from Mildura Brewery for those who are early.
