Single title? Panic Attack

What’s the song about? It’s a happy little driving song about the fragility of human life.

How long did it take to write/record? It didn’t take very long to write. It took a lot longer to record. Approximately two years, to be precise.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Yes. The release is called Duck For Cover, it will be out in October. It will be one album released in two parts.

What was inspiring you during the song’s writing and recording? I wrote Panic Attack when I was bedbound after an operation. It’s harder to sit at the piano and write when the weather is charming and there is boundless love in your heart.

We’ll like this song if we like... St Vincent, Dirty Projectors, Tune-Yards, Solange and Little Dragon.

Do you play it differently live? No. We try and play it the same but better.

When and where is your launch/next gig? Thursday 4 Sep at Brighton Up Bar with MKO (double headline) and Hannah Marjorie (support).
