An animalistic way of approaching new love

Answered by: Lee Napper

Single title? Vultures

What’s the song about? An animalistic way of approaching new love and the adjustment in life that comes hand in hand.

How long did it take to write/record? We got the basis of the song down within a week then finished it during pre-production and recording with our boy Andy Lawson, it only took a couple of days and nights to record.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This track is one of two standalone singles we recorded earlier in the year, again with our boy Andy Lawson. Great guy.

What was inspiring you during the song’s writing and recording? A mess of noise and hysterical energy. We were really fanboying Deerhunter’s Monomania at the time and were inspired by the amount of noises that could be made, mmm.

We’ll like this song if we like... Intentionally hurting your eardrums for fun, and hopefully all different kinds of rock music.

Do you play it differently live? We try and play all our stuff as true to the recording as possible, but we’ll add things here and there to try and keep it interesting live too.
