SET LIST: Harbourfest, Sydney

'SET LIST' is a new section on the Purple Sneakers website. It's purpose is to give clubbers a taste of the tracks played by some of the best tune selectors. Whether the DJs are an old favourite or a name you've never heard before, we'll help you discover who you'll next want to party with in your city.

We sent one of our contributors, TONY KINGSTON on a mission to Harbourfest in Sydney to suss out what was being spun. Equipped with four venues and an awesome local line up made up of THE ASTON SHUFFLE, VAN SHE DJs, DCUP, JUGGERNAUTS DJs, PURPLE SNEAKERS DJs, NINA LAS VEGAS, FISHING & many more; HARBOURFEST seemed to be the most fitting place to finish the Easter long weekend off in style.

DCUP

Most people know DCUP as the man who collaborated with YOLANDA BE COOL on the internationally recognized track 'We Speak No Americano'. Since then, he has continued to build his profile through a number of remixes and originals and is currently in the process of completing his debut full length album.

PURPLE SNEAKERS DJs

Our very own PURPLE SNEAKERS DJs are veterans in the Australian party culture. Late last year they released their first single 'Last One Standing' (featuring Amy Pes of TOKYO DENMARK SWEDEN), which impressively made it onto the hit American TV series '90210'. You can read more about that HERE.

MARC JARVIN

MARC JARVIN has already had a huge year, supporting the likes of SOUL CLAP, SVEN VATH and TRUS'ME. He is also a regular at the legendary SLOW BLOW parties and at just 23 years of age, he has proven to be one of the finer DJs in the Sydney house music scene.
