What does your store specialise in? Small Run produces lathe-cut vinyl records and specialises in short runs with no minimum order. We make 7," 10" and 12" vinyl from our studio in Brunswick.
What's on high rotation on the store stereo at the moment and why? Because we create records, it's whatever is on the lathe. We're lucky to hear so much great music (and before everyone else!).
What does a record store offer that clicking or tapping a button can't? You always come across that record you didn't know you wanted, but you have to get. You don't get that online.
Despite declines in other areas of the industry, vinyl is seeing an increase in sales. Why do you think that is? The sound, the look, the feel — vinyl is the best.
