Record Store Day

Local artists and labels are once again being given the chance to release their own music as part of the Record Store Day festivities.

Press Club, Harvey Sutherland, BATTS, The Grogans, and more will host live performances for the Record Store Day Australia celebrations.

The newly announced Australian acts join Bluey, The Saints, Dannii Minogue, Pond, Ninajirachi, and more.

The in-store activities for this weekend's Record Store Day have been revealed.

As Spunk celebrates a quarter-century, founder Aaron Curnow sits down with The Music to look back at nearly 700 albums, beers with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Lou Reed, and the time he nearly drowned Bill Callahan.

Any remaining Black Friday Record Store Day Exclusives collections stock will be available from Saturday, 25 November.

This Saturday is Record Store Day for 2023, where exclusive releases, instore appearances and general good times are there to be had in dozens of Australia's independent record stores.

Record Store Day lands this Saturday, 22 April, with celebrations beginning at 8 am.
