RETURN TO RIO is back, and is closing out the summer festival in style this weekend at the Del Rio Riverside Resort at Wiseman's Ferry. They have a strong focus on bringing the happiest, most exciting parties to their festival and this year looks no different.
Return To Rio promises that punters will dance themselves silly to "some of the country's top DJ's, sip a cocktail whilst chilling out to some reggae, soul and funk in the tiki bar or spend a little me time down by the river". Now that sounds extremely fun, but what about that lineup? We've done some digging and have come up with some certified Purple Sneakers Approved acts (a new editorial series we ‘approve’ aka tell you why you should love acts from event lineups) from this year's bill!

DIXON
Dixon is the vice president of FC Magnet Mitte, owner of a bakery in Berlin, owner of Innervisions Recordings... and of course, one of world's biggest producers and DJs. He has worked tirelessly on his approach to house, and this has resulted in a whirlwind of eclectic sounds and mixes that culminate in progressive, deep house tunes. His mixes are intended to show the sincere dedication Dixon has to his profession, whilst also being completely danceable; and with four hours poolside, you really won't be able to resist as he closes out the weekend.
MANO LE TOUGH
A native Irishman, currently residing in Germany, you can feel the international spirit in Mano Le Tough's work. He runs the record label, Maeve; and has releases on tastemaking labels like Buzzing Fly, Internasjonal and Permanent Vacation; plus his versatility behind the decks has seen him become a regular at clubs like Berghain / Panorama Bar.

He's quickly becoming a unique and important voice in today’s vibrant electronic music landscape, he strongly believes in DJing as an art form and probably already knows how to get you moving with his smooth, yet techy gold.
ADANA TWINS
Coming out of Hamburg, Adana Twins helped secure their reputation with deep grooves that have made them among the most buzz-worthy house acts around. The duo of Take It Easy and Friso have found their way into the record bags of the world’s top DJs, while comfortably establishing their own sound. Taking influence from their Ed Banger heroes of the past, sleek beats and clever sampling fall around delicious, deep house melodies. Perfect for an afternoon on the grass lazing around... or dancing real hard.
