Lennox Head-bred quartet WHARVES have pulled back the curtains on their brand new single today called Man You Want Me To Be.
The indie rockers liken the song to a Shakespearean classic about forbidden love, and frontman Matthew Collins says, "I wanted to indulge the male ego in how it can be so destructive and jealous, in some way trying to understand it.
"We captured the jagged and dark sounds/feelings in the studio but also kept it within a neat pop structure."
Having played Byron Bay's Falls Festival and supported Polish Club and The Delta Riggs in recent time, WHARVES will be heading out with the song on their own single launch tour this weekend.
