Melburnian alt-pop duo This Way North recently contributed to a fundraiser for youth outdoor education group Mittagundi and have decided to share footage of the retreat in their video for Head Above Water.
Shot in the Glen Valley in the Australian Alps by Jerun Terlaak, This Way North were asked to play the fundraiser alongside Sal Kimber & The Rollin' Wheel and found many similarities between their ethics and those of Mittagundi — "connecting back to the country and being in the present without the constant rush and pressure of the modern day world", as their presser notes state.
The warmth and youth of the Mittagundi group really shine through and we love the stunning footage of the Australian high country, coupled with the dreamy slide guitars.
