PREMIERE: The Amani Consort - 'Two Sides'

WA continually proves itself to be one of the most vibrant cities in the world when it comes to music, and it’s class acts like The Amani Consort that contribute to such a status.

The acclaimed hip-hop/roots powerhouse continue to fuse funk, neo soul, jazz and more with their latest single, Two Sides, and its accompanying film clip, which we have the pleasure of premiering.

“The song explores the two sides of a coin, the clash of ideas, perspectives and the opposing points of view found in society,” vocalist Aysha Amani said.

The Amani Consort will launch the new single this Sunday before taking a bit of a break.

“I’m looking forward to this week’s show for RTR’s Harbour Sundays, which will be my last before I take time out to focus on a new solo album,” Amani said.
